The Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY) is a community based organisation that provides services to and advocates for the needs of young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds. We work with young people 12-25 years old with a particular priority on those that are newly arrived to Australia.
CMY programs and services from the Visy Cares Hub are:
- Brimbank Young Men’s Project
- Multicultural Leaders in Sustainability
- Stand Up 4 Rights
- Learning Beyond the Bell (LBB)
- Youth Referral and Independent Person Program (YRIPP)
- Sport and Recreation
Young people can visit CMY at the Visy Cares Hub or call (03) 9091 8200 where they will have their needs met in a timely and efficient manner. CMY delivers a range of programs to young people in the West and the accessibility of co-located youth specific services assists the work undertaken, outcomes and allows for consultation.
